Chris‘ Caesar Salad

In this post I have a special guest chef, my tall Canadian friend Chris. He is preparing a Caesar Salad, which is easy to make and very flavorfull. When you make the dressing yourself it is so much better than those ready made bottles at the supermarket. This version is a basic, and it invites you to be creative with your toppings. For example you can add the classic croutons, or any kind of protein that you want really. Normally chicken, and sometimes salmon is added but being a vegetarian I would recommend some fried Tofu or Tempeh. Something that goes great with Caesar Salad is spiced Quorn, but that’s a whole other post, people! But this salad is also great as it is!

What you need:

2 medium heads of romaine lettuce
3 cloves garlic
1 small lemon
1 table spoon red wine vinegar
2 table spoons dijon mustard
3 dashes Tabasco
8 dashes worchestershire sauce
60 ml olive oil
100 gram Parmesan cheese

  1. Another ticket to flavour country: Caesar salad WRAPS. With other tasty crap jammed in there too, of course.
